Located approximately 12 miles south of Breckenridge in the Placer Valley area, you will enjoy breathtaking vistas of the entire surrounding valley, and 14,000 foot mountains. Just across the road, the South Platte River features GOLD MEDAL TROUT FISHING. In the evening, relax and stargaze from our large eight-person hot tub or from the two large decks. 
Main Living room upstairs; family and game room downstairs, with gas fireplaces on both levels. 
Riverview is ideal for medium to larger groups. Nestled in Nature with great trails for hiking or biking in the summer and show shoeing in the winter. Skiing in Breckenridge is only 15 minutes away.

Beds and Sleeping: Riverview Lodge has four bedrooms; two up and two down. Main three bedrooms have one King bed and two Queen-size Aspen Log beds; The fourth bedroom is a "kids" bunkhouse room with a full-size bed, and three single bunk beds. 

Bathrooms: There are four private bathrooms two up and two down with two showers & a tub
Entertainment: there's plenty of entertainment always available in the "recreational/game room" with ping pong and foos-ball tables, videos, CD's, DVD's, puzzles and other fun board games. Satellite TV is also provided.

 

This home is in the heart of all outdoor activities in the Rocky Mountains. In the Fall you will be in the heart of some of the most amazing aspen groves around. There are plenty of scenic views to stop at and admire the gorgeous aspen leaves turning golden orange and yellow. You will also be only 15 minutes from world-class skiing in the winter and mountain biking in the summer at Breckenridge.  Keystone is only 25 minutes away and Buena Vista is about 45 minutes from the home which has the best whitewater rafting in Colorado. If hiking to a ghost town sounds like fun, you will be in the right place. Nearby Alma offer mining ghost towns to explore and Boreas Pass is just minutes away.  If you are looking for challenging 4-wheel drives, you can cross Mosquito Pass to Silverton. Buena Vista is the location of the famous ghost town of St. Elmo. Whatever your outdoor hobby may be, you will be minutes away. The best fishing in Colorado includes the nearby Jefferson Lake, Tarrayall Reservoir, Lake Antero, Lake George, and Eleven-Mile Reservoir. As for shopping you can choose from the antique stores in nearby Como, Fairplay, and Buena Vista or the outlet malls in Silverthorne.
