The best fishing in Colorado includes the nearby Jefferson Lake, Tarrayall Reservoir, Lake Antero, Lake George, and Eleven-Mile Reservoir. As for shopping you can choose from the antique stores in nearby Como, Fairplay, and Buena Vista or the outlet malls in Silverthorne.
