This beautiful log cabin vacation home is only 12 miles away from Breckenridge Ski Resort and all the dining and shopping a world-class resort offers—not to mention downhill skiing, 2 minutes away. The home is located on a very heavily wooded lot with Spruce and Pine trees. There are gorgeous views of Mt. Lincoln and the Continental Divide from the back of the home where the large porch is located with it’s own private hot tub. You can reach out and touch the trees from the hot tub. The living area has a huge round wood-burning fireplace that is open to the entire room. The floor-to-ceiling windows frame the gorgeous view of the snow-capped peaks. The modern kitchen includes everything you need to make your stay comfortable and worry-free. There are 3 full bedrooms and a large bathroom with a tub and shower on the main floor. One bedroom has a king bed, one has a queen bed and the third has bunk beds. There is an additional sleeping area in the loft for the older children. Please use caution as the ladder is steep and there is always danger of falling. For those that are over the age of 8, this is a great hideaway and bedroom.
Downstairs there is a huge recreation room with a gas burning stove. There is a pool table that -will convert to a ping-pong table. A new foosball table and stereo add to the fun downstairs. There are games to keep all ages occupied. For those who just want to relax there is a custom sauna. The second bath is located downstairs across from the sauna. It has a shower and a laundry room with a washer and dryer.
Every imaginable activity is within minutes of this home. There is even a fishing (or ice fishing) park just across the road (only a very short walk away). Lincoln Falls and Montgomery Reservoir are both less than 5 minutes away for snow-shoeing, ice climbing, 4-wheeling or hiking activities. This area is well known throughout Colorado as one of the best 4-wheel driving areas and ice climbing areas in Colorado. |
